FitAds is a fitness-event + loyalty platform that connects trainers, runners, and venue sponsors through an attendance → points → rewards loop (1 point = $1).

We organized discovery notes + RFCs into a single searchable knowledge base so anyone could answer: “What’s the source of truth for this flow?” Also, we used retrieval to keep edge cases consistent across roles (joining vs. check-in vs. rewards).

Agent-assisted execution (with human control)

  • We used lightweight agents to draft: acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and “happy path vs. failure path” checklists for each role-based screen.

  • The team treated outputs as starting points, never final decisions.

HITL (Human-in-the-loop) as a non-negotiable gate

  • PM + founder reviewed each workflow before it shipped.

  • Demos stayed short and frequent, so we corrected direction early—not after a sprint.

Guardrails + evals (quality without slowing down)

  • We ran repeatable checks: role/permission validation, QR flow validation, and data integrity checks before demos.

  • We used automated checks in the repo (linting/testing/migrations) to catch regressions before deployment.

Net: AI sped up the busywork; humans owned the product calls.

Operational wins

  • Delivered a working MVP with all four roles live and testable

  • Enabled QR-based venue joining + event check-in (core loop proven) a Vercel staging environment for testing and demos

  • Unblocked investor momentum: the founder reported increased confidence and scheduled investor conversations for February (year: 2026)
