Empowering Adolescent Health with Smart Case Management
Case Study: Healthy Teen Network
Healthy Teen Network partnered with Melt Studio to design a prototype for a smarter, more intuitive administrative case management system. The tool allows case administrators to manage cases with precision—creating, listing, updating, and tracking them with key analytics. Together, we laid the foundation for digital transformation in youth-centered nonprofit operations.
THE CHALLENGE
Creating a Custom Tool to Track and Manage Cases
Healthy Teen Network needed a centralized, user-friendly case management prototype. It had to support daily admin tasks while enabling real-time analysis of case categories, sources, and resolution timelines—offering clarity and control for internal operations.
INITIAL STATE
OUR SOLUTION
A Purpose-Built Prototype for Administrative Case Oversight
Requirements
Simplification
Our team focused on building a lightweight tool with just the right functionality—case CRUD, key metrics dashboards, and document attachments—eliminating process bloat while setting a clear roadmap for future reporting features.
Application
Building
We developed a working prototype that enabled Healthy Teen Network’s admins to manage cases and review case data visually. Features included document uploads and categorized analytics, designed for usability and insight.
Prototype
Release
The prototype reached maturity in November 2024 and is now a foundational piece of internal operations. It’s primed for expansion—adding features like detailed reporting and refined access roles in upcoming phases.
DELIVER STATE
CUSTOMER FEEDBACK
Stronger Admin Workflows, Smarter Case Tracking
With the Melt Studio prototype in place, Healthy Teen Network now benefits from faster case handling, clearer metrics visibility, and a solid platform for feature growth. Internal teams are equipped to act with greater precision and confidence.

Exceptionally high skill and little oversight required, which at the moment allows me to work on other parts of the project. The engineers are self-starters and take initiative on their own. I really look forward to working long-term with you all

hi juan, wanted to drop a note, i think luis has really stepped up, he's meeting my expectations especially over the last week. will keep monitoring but this is really promising. in other news, wanted to leave feedback for the dev team, hans, oscar, and sebastian have been absolute superstars. i've never worked with a group of guys who are so good about executing good quality code aligned to business expectations. when i don't have to touch the SDLC constantly and almost have too little to do for a project i know the team is proactive. please let them know they're doing great. off the back of this, i work for another company that is seeking an initial exploration into moving away from eastern europe in their current engagement, would love to have a discussion with you about that company's needs as well. 4 person team + pm. we are only just barely getting started with exploring the idea of changing the team but i thought i'd throw it your way as a heads up for possibility.
